Opening Day Celebration 

Saturday, May 4th from 10 AM to 3 PM

Activities include:

  • Book signing of Mac and the Millstone of Time by local author and illustrator Timothy Young. At 11 AM, Young will read the first chapter of his book and hold a Q&A. He will be available to sign books until 2 PM.

  • Colonial cooking demonstration by the Maryland 1st Regiment Reenactment group

  • Bake Sale

  • Jam Taste Testing

  • Flour Grinding Demonstrations

Flour, grists, honey, jam, maple syrup, pottery and other gifts will be available to purchase.


Ancient Grains and Local Products Festival

Christmas Shoppe

Old Wye Mill can help you get into the holiday spirt with our Christmas Shop! On sale will be a variety of Mill items, including stone ground flours (wheat, einkorn, rye, barley), cornmeal, grits, as well as pottery, Christmas tree ornaments and fresh baked goods.
